San Diego nonprofit aims to help migrant women facing depression, loneliness transition to US

Nancy Robles, a participant in a 12-week program created under the Magnolias umbrella, felt understood and supported by the community of women facing similar situations. The program, which includes workshops and community-building exercises led by local professionals, is in high demand and usually has a waiting list. The program's creator, Fuentes, plans to introduce a virtual option later this year to allow women across the United States to join.
